March 25, 2020 - When I last reported to you regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) on March 19, 2020, there were 13 postal workers who were confirmed to be COVID-19 positive. As of the date of this writing (March 25, 2020) there are currently 65 postal workers confirmed to have been infected. That number will certainly continue to rise. NPMHU representatives continue to meet on a regular basis with their counterparts in postal management to discuss the Postal Service’s response to the outbreak of the virus during rapidly changing circumstances. Postal management has stated that they will continue to follow the guidance of the “health experts” such as CDC and HHS.
